Marmite Paneer Bites

Serves 4

Ready in 20 mins

This is a MUST TRY!! Even if you don't like Marmite, these little cheesy, crispy bites might just turn you from a hater into a lover. Salty, savoury and ridiculously moreish.

Ingredients

  • 2 packs (400g) All The Aunties Original Paneer, cubed
  • 1½ to 2 tbsp Marmite
  • 60g Parmesan, finely grated (or a vegetarian hard cheese)
  • A little oil, for spraying (optional)

Method

  1. Prepare the paneer: Cut the All The Aunties Original Paneer into bite-sized cubes.
  2. Coat in Marmite: Add the Marmite to a large mixing bowl, followed by the paneer cubes. Toss well until every piece is evenly coated. If the Marmite is too thick, warm it slightly to make it easier to mix.
  3. Add the Parmesan: Place the finely grated Parmesan in a separate shallow bowl. Roll each Marmite-coated paneer cube through the Parmesan, pressing gently so the cheese sticks to all sides.
  4. Cook using either method. Air fryer: Preheat to 190°C. Arrange the paneer bites in a single layer, leaving a little space between each piece. Lightly spray with oil if desired. Air fry for 8 to 10 minutes, turning carefully halfway through, until golden and crispy. Oven: Preheat to 200°C fan (220°C conventional). Arrange the paneer bites on a lined baking tray, leaving space between each cube. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, turning carefully halfway through, until the Parmesan is golden and crispy.
  5. Serve: Transfer to a serving plate and enjoy immediately while warm, cheesy and crispy!
