Crispy Panko and Sesame Paneer Bites

Serves 2-3

Ready in 25 mins

Crunchy, golden and rolled in a double sesame crumb, these are PROPER party food. Fry or air fry until crispy, then toss in a glossy homemade teriyaki or keep it on the side for dunking. Swap: no eggs in? Dip the paneer in milk before the crumb instead.

Ingredients

  • 200g All The Aunties Original Paneer (cubed)
  • 40g plain flour
  • 1 egg (or milk)
  • Crumb:
    • 50g panko
    • 1 tbsp white sesame
    • 1 tbsp black sesame
    • ½ tsp allspice
    • ½ tsp black pepper
    • ½ tsp salt
  • Teriyaki:
    • 3 tbsp soy sauce
    • 2 tbsp sugar
    • 2 tbsp mirin
    • 1 garlic clove (minced)
    • 1 tsp grated ginger
    • 1 tsp rice vinegar
    • ½ tsp sesame oil

Method

  1. Coat paneer: flour → egg → sesame-panko mix
  2. Fry until golden and crispy (or air fry @ 200°C for 8–10 mins)
  3. Simmer teriyaki ingredients for 3–5 mins until glossy
  4. Toss paneer lightly in sauce or serve for dipping
  5. Finish with extra sesame + spring onions if you’re feeling fancy
